5-Year Curriculum Pathway

• Students are placed into 1 of 6 form brackets based on Key Stage 2 performance (A, B, C, D, E, F)
• Southchurch has a 1week timetable, featuring 25 x 1 hour taught lessons, plus a 30-minute tutorial period/assembly each day.
• PSHE/RE are delivered via a carousel (1 lesson per week in years 7 – 9)
• PSHE/RE are delivered through several specific PSHE days across years 10 and 11
• At Key Stage 4, students study the following core subjects:
