We read too
The staff here at Southchurch High School all enjoy reading for pleasure as well as the importance of learning subject specific vocabulary. This is why we use 10 minutes out of every lesson for UTV – Understanding Text and Vocabulary, this allows students to learn and understand subject specific vocabulary.
We have some videos from staff members here explaining what their favourite books are, and what they like reading. Have a look at the videos and see if you get any inspiration for your next book choice.
